Google Maps: Swine Flu
Here is an example of the web 2.0 tool, google maps being used on a global level to track the swine flu. I am going to give you the link instead of embedding it because this map loads slowly, but is a very interesting use of a web 2.0 tool.

Web 2.0 technologies in particular have found a receptive audience among educators. Many use blogs to share ideas on teaching and technology, some of which might surprise students.

There are countless free resources Google offers. One of the is Google Docs. As an educator and as a business owner I use Google Docs every day because everything is stored online for me.
